Aktina Medical presented to the AAPM conference a completely unique method for performing prone breast treatments. The Aktina SenoView solves many of the current problems with standard prone breast boards. The SenoView’s patent pending technology allows for complete visibility of the breast from both lateral and medial fields, does not compress the patient’s opposing breast, and allows for motorized fine-tune angular corrections of the patient’s setup.“The response we received from the show attendees was overwhelmingly positive. There was a very strong consensus that a useful prone breast system has been long overdue. And it was great to see how excited therapists and physicists were during the SenoView product demos.”Michael Plantamura, CMD, RTT
